Maintenance Assistant

Baillie Lumber St. James in Galion, OH is looking to add a Maintenance Assistant to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a world class lumber organization assisting the maintenance team, working for a world class lumber organization.

Maintenance Assistant Pay & Benefits:

• 12:30pm - 8:30pm M-F
• Full Time Hours or Part Time available
• Overtime Hours and Pay
• Full Plan of Benefits for Full Time

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:

• Maintenance experience preferred
• Experience operating forklift
• Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold industrial environment
• Ability to work alone or as a team

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform maintenance on buildings and other areas as needed
• Willingness to clean after hours
• Assist with Yard projects as necessary
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment
• Other duties as assigned
