Industrial Electrician Summary

Our Candor, NY facility is hiring for an Electrician. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer. The position will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment.

Industrial Electrician Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for program changes and installations or updates to maintain proper operations of the manufacturing facility
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and control systems
• Assist maintenance personnel during installation or modification of technological equipment

Industrial Electrician Qualifications:

• A 2 year degree/certificate in an affiliated program preferred
• Knowledge of accurate PLC troubleshooting
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting
