Inventory Clerk Job Summary

Our Donalds, SC sawmill is hiring for an Inventory Clerk. This is a full time permanent opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.  This person will provide clerical and administrative support to our log and lumber team.

Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze log and lumber inventory
  • Data entry in excel spreadsheets and database system
  • Become proficient in the complete inventory system for logs and lumber
  • Assist employees with handheld or inventory-related questions
  • Other duties as assigned

Inventory Clerk Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Must be self motivated
  • Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
